Since 2002, Victor Quijada and RUBBERBAND have redefined break codes in an institutional context, enlivening the Quebec dance milieu and paving the way for new creators. Armed with a technique that he conceived, the RUBBERBAND Method — an electrifying dance vocabulary that blends the energy of Hip Hop, the refinement of classical ballet, and the exploratory edginess of contemporary dance — and with some forty national and international creations/collaborations behind him, Victor Quijada continues his development within a prolific career.
