The dramatic core of Hasta La Próxima is the physical and psychological manipulation occurring in a group of individuals who repeatedly leave each other and come back together. In this quartet, Quijada continued to explore the integration of a powerful theatricality into his unique style.

The premiere of Hasta La Próxima, part of the Danses Urbaines series in Montreal, took place at Espace Tangente in October 2002.
