Commissioned by the New York City Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, sHip sHop Shape Shifting is a love letter to hip-hop written in Quijada’s hybrid vocabulary. The duet, performed by Anne Plamondon and Victor Quijada, was presented at several prestigious galas and toured within the Elastic Perspective Redux program.
The premiere of sHip sHop Shape Shifting took place in 2005 as part of the Bay Area Hip Hop Theatre Festival at the Yerba Buena Performing Arts Center in San Francisco.
